An eclectic array of artists will be taking part in the ‘All Around The World’ gospel concert, headlining Muyiwa and Riversongz at the HMV Apollo, Hammersmith, London on June 23. It promises to be one of the biggest gospel concerts of 2012.
Muyiwa, alongside being a popular praise and worship artist and presenter of regular radio shows on Premier Radio and Premier Gospel, is one of the most popular gospel groups to come out of the UK. He has also won a legion of fans in the UK, Europe, Africa and America – the home of gospel music. In 2009, he became the first UK artist to appear on one of BET’s most popular music shows, Celebration of Gospel.
He will be joined by his singers, Riversongz; perform with MOBO award winners, Guvna B and Victizzle, and feature support artists, Latin sensation Rony Padilla, Edwin Fawcett, Rebecca, Chinese gospel artist Michelle Cheung, and Pandit Dinesh from India.
Some of the proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Commonwealth Countries League charity, which promotes the education and advancement of women in the Commonwealth.
Tickets are £15-25 and are available from www.hmvtickets.com/events/5647
