Muyiwa made history when he become the first UK gospel artist to headline a concert in front of 5000 people, after his recent sell-out ‘All Around The World’ show at the HMV Apollo in Hammersmith, West London.
The audience enjoyed an uplifting show, which featured support artists Edwin Fawcett, African singing sensation, Rebecca, and Latino, Ronnie Padilla.
When Muyiwa hit the stage with his singers, Riversongz, he was greeted with a mighty roar from the crowd, who were into his music from the opening number with Indian praise and worship artist, Pandit Dinesh. Other artists who intermittedly joined him on stage through the course of the evening were Joelle Moses, a contestant in BBC talent show The Voice; Guvna B and Victizzle. And he performed the songs people love him for, including God of Miracles, Hey Ya, I Sing and the number he closed with, Send Down The Light.
More than anything, this concert highlighted that the sky really is the limit for UK gospel artists.
