Add a commentSafe N Sound Youth Project will be launching their 1 Million Pound Challenge on Saturday 13th August 2011 at 12pm.
The event will be held at 91 Peckham High Street, Peckham SE15 5RS.
The challenge is to ask 1 Million people for £1to raise money to build a centre to address the needs of young people, parents and the community to fight against the rise in knife, gun and gang crime!!!
The centre will provide apprenticeships opportunities and jobs for those in the community plus a number of other beneficial opportunities.
We all witnessed the events of the past few days and I strongly believe that we need to take drastic actions to prevent this from happening to our communities again.
So why don't you join us where you will be entertained by A&C Promotions and Urban Gospel DJ. There will be live coverage from the media, performances from the young people who use Safe N Sound and a surprise artist from Jamaica!!. We will also be serving free Jerk Chicken and burgers plus many more goodies!!
