Keep the Faith About Town

The biblical character, Queen Esther, is the inspiration behind Esther’s Academy – founded by Revelation TV presenter and church leader, Pastor Yvonne Brooks, co-pastor of the New Jerusalem Church (NJC) in Aston, Birmingham.

Esther’s Academy is a training course to equip women – whatever their faith – in all areas of their lives.  Students are taught by gifted teachers in various subjects, which include knowing God, personal grooming, public speaking and finances.

The ladies who completed the course were presented with certificates at a special banquet held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, where Keep The Faith editor, Marcia Dixon, was a special guest.

Attendees not only enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, but the presentation of a certificate to all the Esther Academy graduates; a talk about the Academy’s aims by Pastor Yvonne Brooks, and a closing speech from Bishop Melvin Brooks.

The next Esther Academy programme is due to start soon.
