African gospel artists are gearing up for the third Africa Gospel Music Awards, scheduled to take place at the Hippodrome Theatre in Golders Green, London on July 7 and, in preparation, attended a Launch Reception at the Zanzibar Suite in Sydenham, South London.
Artists in attendance included Muyiwa, Michael ‘Lyrical Soldier’ Agyei, Faithchild, Sonnie Badu and Shola Victor-Sajowa. Fans of African gospel music from across the world are expected to attend the event, where a total of 25 awards will be presented. Most of the winners of each award will have been decided by a public vote.
Conference hosts at this year’s event include Rebecca, Wole Awolola and Diana Hamilton.
