Utilising Twitter for business success

.Be clear on how the information you tweet fits your overall business aim.

.Be transparent: do your own tweeting rather than giving it over to a third party.

.Use TweetDeck to help manage your tweets and decide who to follow.

.Share content with a value, such as free trials, promotions, helpful links and educational resources.

.Create friends: they will help you promote your services and products.

.Do not ask people to do business with you as soon as they follow you.

.Invest in good tit for tat: when given the opportunity to support a follower, do so.

.Don’t be the silent type. Respond to other tweets and re-tweet other useful messages.
