The Shack wins Inspirational Film of the Year at GMA Dove Awards

The Shack was honoured as Inspirational Film of the Year at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. Also nominated in this category were Ben-Hur, I’m Not Ashamed, Priceless and The Case for Christ.

Responding to this award, The Shack’s British director, Stuart Hazeldine, said:

“I am deeply honoured that The Shack has been awarded Inspirational Film of the Year by the GMA Dove Awards.  It has been so gratifying to everyone involved to see how our movie has connected with theatrical audiences this year, emotionally and spiritually, and we hope it continues to inspire viewers around the world as it becomes available to watch in their homes and churches.”

To date The Shack has grossed over $96million worldwide, making it one of the most successful Christian movies of all time. It is now available on DVD and digital download.
