Right now, you can use that power to send a personal message to someone who has suffered injustice. It takes minutes, but it can make the world of difference.

Every year Amnesty International asks volunteers to write messages of support to people around the world who are facing human rights abuses. A message of solidarity tells them they’re not alone.

Your words can also help put pressure on the authorities to end human rights abuses, and show them the world is watching.

This year, they’re asking you to speak directly to people under fire for defending human rights across the world, to let them know you stand with them.
