Keep The Faith Issue 105 – Windrush@70

You can help support Keep The Faith; Click here to find out how

Did you watch the Royal Wedding? What an amazing day. A mixed-race American, Black Gospel choirs, a fiery Black American preacher quoting Martin Luther King and a young mixed-race cellist. History was made at Windsor Castle! In this issue, we celebrate Windrush@70 and the wonderful contributions men and women from the Caribbean have made to the UK – from building churches, businesses, the NHS, gospel music and beyond – and how children of this generation are being negatively affected up to this day. When you look at all the positive contributions and achievements the Windrush generation has made to British life, it is worrying to learn that there have been 62 deaths resulting from knife crime in the UK – many of them Black and ethnic youth. Where has it all gone wrong? We have our regular contributions, and there is more to read on our website (! Finally, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, spiritual dads, grandfathers, uncles and brothers. We value you!
