With more than 2,000 children waiting to be adopted, PACT specialises in finding secure and loving homes for children in care, including those who often face the longest wait for their forever family.
PACT adopters can be couples or single people, of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds.
PACT’s Chief Executive Jan FishwickOBE said:
“We understand that making the decision to adopt is huge, and we really want to make it as easy as possible for people to take the first step to find out more.We hope that having our enquiry lines open longer, in the evenings and at weekends, when people might find it easier or have a bit more time to pick up the phone, will encourage more people to get in touch.”
Lorna Hunt, Head of Adoption at PACT,added:
“We have a fantastic enquiries team who are friendly and approachable, and are very happy to answer any questions you may have, talk you through the process and book you onto one of our adoption information events where you can find out more.
“If you are at all interested in starting or extending your family through adoption please do pickup the phone to help find out if this is right for you and, if so, how we can help you to do this.”
