‘Spiritual Antenna’, rallies readers around everyday themes such as love, grief and anger, emotions that we all grapple with and seek support for. But to who, or where can we turn when we face such life changes?
A new book by Shirley Blackwood aims to help us to tap into these emotions and find comfort when in pain. This valuable book of poems came to light when Shirley found herself totally consumed with emotional pain that was too much for her to bear or even understand.

Shirley sought help from the medical professions but it was not the answer. She came to the conclusion that she was the one responsible for healing herself. Shirley began by confessing and forgiving herself and those who had caused her pain. She challenged herself to face the most difficult stages of her life where the pain had begun. It was then that Shirley found hope and her life began to change.
“The book speaks the unexpressed words hidden in the heart of the human spirit. We’ve all felt lost and broken at times and not know which way to turn. This collection of poetry aims to take you on a journey that allows you to go deeper into the repressed emotional pain, bringing it to the surface, so that you can connect to the conscious spirit and find healing and restoration.”.
