Black Panther’s Letitia Wright Scolds Media For Editing Out Faith Comments

In recent years, Letitia Wright has made quite a name for herself, starring as Shuri in major Marvel movies like Black PantherAvengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. She credits God for her success, but apparently, the media has often removed that message her interviews.

Wright cheerfully scolded the media for taking out her comments regarding her faith, posting a comment to her Twitter.

The Twitter post reads: “It’s super cute when journalists/interviewers for magazines leave out the massive part where I give God the glory for the success/achievements in my life. Haha, I still love you and God will still be praised.”

Previously, Wright has spoken on her battle with depression and struggles in her career. She cited her Christianity as a driving force in helping her through those trying times.

With the Black Panther sequel set for a May 2022 release, the actress has been confirmed to be returning. Outside of Marvel, Wright’s career has moved full force. She recently landed a leading role in the sci-fi romance, Hold Back the Stars.

She is slated to return for the Black Panther sequel. Chadewick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman and director Ryan Coogler are also returning. The film is set for release on May 6, 2022.
