Twenty in 2020 is a historical publishing initiative. It is the first time a UK publisher will publish 20 titles by 20 Black British writers in one year. The books include adult fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
The aim of the initiative is to normalize the presence of diverse literature and to amplify the voice of Black Britons as valued members of British culture and society. My second novel, Love Again, is included as one of the twenty books from twenty authors of colour, and I am proud to call myself an #Twentyin2020 author.
“Completing my novel gives me one of the greatest feelings of joy.” Rasheda
Love Again is a classic fake relationship turned real love romance saga. Honey Fontaine is a young woman trying to evade her mother’s husband-hunting by enlisting pretend boyfriend, handsome businessman Ashley Elliott. Neither are prepared for the intensity of feelings that develop.
