Mercy Ships U.K. are proud to announce the #Song4MercyShips playlist on Spotify!
2020 has been an unprecedented year. From a global pandemic to social injustice awakening worldwide activism, we could say that we have all been impacted by the events that have taken place this year.
For many, music is a form of expression that shifts emotion and generates motivation. Here at Mercy Ships UK, we recognise that the power of music is not only made to encourage and inspire, but we acknowledge that music can also change lives for the better.
The #Song4MercyShips playlist powered by Give Penny is a collection of favourite songs donated by music fans for encouragement, motivation and hope. We all have a song that kick starts our morning, revitalises our energy and restores our down days. Whether praise and worship, gospel or CCM, when we think of how one track can transform an entire mood, this level of impact is something worth sharing.
Mercy Ships is a faith-based international development organisation that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world, delivering vital, free healthcare to people in desperate need. The Mercy Ships crew is led by a team of volunteers from across 40 nations, all of whom give their time and expertise for free.
These are the heroes that keep us moving forward. Early mornings, late nights, our people work with a smile on their face and song in their heart. To let them know how much we appreciate all that they do, this playlist is an opportunity for music fans to share a track of hope, faith and motivation that will keep our Mercy Ships volunteers singing while providing the best care to our patients.
