Christmas Has Come Early For West Midlands Housing Association As they Secure Gold Investor In People Award

Nehemiah Housing Association which has over 1244 properties across the West Midlands has achieved the prestigious Investors in People (IiP) Gold accreditation.

Gold accreditation means that you’ve got the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from CEO to apprentice takes ownership for making them come to life.

Only 17% of our accredited organisations achieve Gold.

Llewellyn Graham Nehemiah’s Chief Executive said: “I’m delighted that Nehemiah and our fantastic team have been recognised by the Gold Investors in People accreditation. This is a terrific achievement, particularly during a global pandemic. Everyone has worked so hard over the last two years during difficult times. We have been recognised as an Investor In People for over 24 years and Gold Accreditation shows how committed Nehemiah is to investing in the most important asset to the organisation, the staff.”

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Nehemiah Housing Association. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Nehemiah Housing Association in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

Commenting on the award Company Secretary, Janet Dubidat said: “We were awarded silver status in 2015 and despite the pandemic we wanted to push for gold. I am really proud of the accreditation of the IIP Gold award our whole team has received. Since our last review we have put a significant amount of time and effort into listening to all the staff here at Nehemiah from the head office to staff based in our retirement schemes in order to improve the employee experience.  We have invested in several different areas from employee engagement, development and training, our processes and much more.  This achievement reflects the changes.  However, what the assessment also allows is for us to understand the areas we need to invest in further to continue to improve the journey for everyone who works at Nehemiah.
