Radio Veteran Cedric Bailey to Host Live Veteran’s Day Special This Friday

This Friday, November 11, 2022, The Cedric Bailey Traffic Jam radio show will air its annual

“Salute to Veterans” program live from the WREJ 990 AM/ 101.3 FM studios in Richmond, Virginia from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm EST. Each Veteran’s Day, Bailey dedicates the entire program to celebrate those who have served the country through their military service. The show also highlights businesses and organizations that support veterans in extraordinary ways. WREJ’s on-air personality and Program Director, Randy Jackson, will co-host this year’s broadcast.

Cedric Bailey (U.S. Army) and Randy Johnson (U.S. Navy) are both veterans and honored to

celebrate veterans and their families. The Salute to Veterans broadcast spotlights businesses, non-profits, and faith-based organizations for their exceptional contributions to support veterans. The program features special discounts, job opportunities, housing, health services and resources. In addition, the program includes heroic stories, interviews, reflections, and shout-outs from listeners.

This year’s salute will also spotlight the ministry of Saint Paul’s Baptist Church. The Pastor Lance Watson is known for his exceptional outreach to veterans and the entire community. On Saturday, over 120 veterans and their families will attend a gratis luncheon hosted by The Saint Paul Baptist Church and supported by CVS Health. Bailey, Johnson, and other special guests will attend.
