Chart-topping Podcast, Being Human, Returns for its Fourth Season

Hosts Jo Frost and Peter Lynas, from the Evangelical Alliance, are back with another season of the chart-topping Being Human podcast, with special guests from around the world offering cultural and theological commentary on how to live truly fully human lives.

In this fourth season, Jo and Peter are in conversation with a variety of Christian authors, theologians, practitioners and cultural commentators exploring the key question – what does it mean to be human?

Building on the success of previous seasons, which listeners have described as “an absolute must for Christians trying to navigate life in the 21st Century” with content that is “very relevant and topical” as “current issues in our society are linked to biblical truths”, Peter Lynas, co-lead of Being Human, said: “It’s great to be back! With the rise of AI, the war in Europe, political chaos at every turn, plenty has changed in the last couple of years. And yet all these events lead us back to asking the same big life questions; who are we, how do we relate to each other, do our lives matter and how should we live? We are delighted to be digging into these conversations and more with our guests this season.”

Guests featured include BibleProject founder and international speaker, Tim Mackie, author of Biblical Critical Theory Chris Watkin, and author and youth worker Rachel Gardner, plus many more. Drawing on the wealth of guests’ experience and leadership, this season will look at humanity’s significance, the connection we have to one another, our presence in the world and the call to participate with God’s restoration of all things.

The Being Human podcast is released ahead of Jo and Peter’s new book Being Human: A new lens for our cultural conversations (Hodder, Oct 2023) and forms part of the multi-year initiative from the Evangelical Alliance. Over the next few years and through several resources this initiative is here to help everyday Christians live out and share the biblical vision of what it means to be human by offering a new lens to engage with our cultural conversations.

The first podcast in this new season will be broadcast this Thursday, and new podcast will be out every Thursday.
