JustMoney Movement Announces Dr Selina Stone as New Patron

The JustMoney Movement, an ecumenical Christian charity campaigning and educating around the just and fair use of money has just announced Dr Selina Stone as their new patron.

Dr Stone is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Theological Education at Durham University. Her research explores theologies of social justice including socioeconomic inequity. As a Community Organiser with the Centre for Theology and Community, she organised a campaign to end payday lending, promote credit unions and elevate community voices.

Selina joins Bishop Mike Royal (General Secretary of Churches Together in England) and The Rt Revd William Kenney (Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Birmingham) as a patron of the JustMoney Movement, advocating and supporting this movement for a world where money is used to shape a fairer, greener future for everyone.

New JustMoney Patron, Dr Selina Stone said:

I am very pleased to be a new patron for the JustMoney Movement, an organisation committed to building a more just future. The matters of ethical financial stewardship are core to Christian living especially in an increasingly unequal world, which is also in the midst of a climate crisis. I am glad to support this essential work, which supports us all and particularly the most vulnerable.
