What do you know about vaping and spiking? Frequently in the news over the past year, what are the real risks to our children and young people, and what are the key issues you need to be aware of?

To find out more about these topical issues and other aspects of recreational drug use and the prevention of drug-related harms, check out the latest information available on Hope UK’s website.

Recently updated, our online learning area contains a bank of resources for use in the home, with church groups or for use by other professionals. Parents, youth workers and young people can access e-learning modules that will enable them to gain essential and up-to-date knowledge about legal and illegal substances. Topics covered include smoking, cannabis, drugs and mental health, nitrous oxide and county lines, as well as e-learning modules on life skills like making healthy choicesand how to manage peer pressure.

There are dedicated areas for church groups, youth workers and teachers, plus specialist refresher training modules for Street Pastors’ volunteers.

Lesson plans, Power Point presentations and resources are available for primary and secondary teachers to use so they can provide age-appropriate drug education to meet the requirements of the Relationships, Sex and Health Education curriculum for all key stages.


Drug education offered by Christian charity, Hope UK is bespoke, age-appropriate and relevant.Workshops and training sessions can be delivered face-to-face or virtually. Every session is information-based but will also help to develop the life skills so vital to making drug-free choices.
