Pastor Writes Book To Encourage Women To Dream Big And Use Their Talents And Gifts

Pastor Lola Owolabi is gearing up for a unique event where she’ll launch her fourth book ‘If She Can, So Can You’ and perform some of her favourite songs at Notting Hill Arts Club, 21 Notting Hill Gate, London W11 3JQ on June 30, 2024.

Pastor Lola’s soon to be released book, If She Can, So Can You is part personal development, part Memoir, where she shares insights about her life and offers advice to those looking to elevate their lives, set goals and achieve their dreams.

She said, ‘If She Can, So Can You’ is a book about my life journey and work. It contains details of my coaching experience – which has been a major part of my working life – and my leadership journey. Being the wife of a pastor was never part of my initial life goals but as the Lord took my life in that direction, and upon taking on co-leadership alongside my husband I have seen my leadership skills, and everything involved in discipling a congregation develop and soar.”

Pastor Lola added,

One of my life passions is empowering people, especially women. If She Can So Can You has been written with them in mind.

The book contains advice, reflections and questions for readers to think about and consider. I want readers to dig deep and discover their gifts and talents if they haven’t already done so, know who they are, and get the confidence to run with their gives. I know it’s an often-overused phrase, but this book is designed to encourage women to become the person God designed them to be and utilise fully all their God given talents.

Pastor Lola, as she is known by many, has devoted much of her Christian life to empowering others – through both coaching and personal example. Alongside leading Everlasting Arms Ministry alongside her husband Kay, Pastor Lola also runs a women’s ministry, is CEO of a CIC called Proud to be Me, and serves as a Magistrate, and Trustee of a Grammar School. Pastor Lola’s is currently employed as a Coach in Residence at York St John University and is also a tutor.

One thing Pastor Lola likes to do, is to do things different and add a special unique touch to her activities. For instance, her women’s ministry, amongst carrying out the usual range of activities, entails taking women on trips to exotic locations so that they get to see God’s world. And the CIC she founded Proud to Be Me empower young girls to lead.

Such has been Lola’s desire to fully utilise her gifts, she has honed her love for singing and will also be performing some songs at her book launch and live music event.

She said,

I want to die empty. I want to use all the gifts the Lord has given me, and one of them is singing, so I am looking forward to sharing my gift of song, along with my new book with audiences.
