Experience Advent with Lifewords’ New Little Book
Lifewords have released a brand-new Bible resource to equip and inspire individuals, groups, and churches to engage with the season of Advent.
Rooted in verses from Scripture, Little Book of Advent is a 56-page booklet that explores different aspects of Advent, reflecting on the season’s meaning, building anticipation to the birth of Jesus, and looking forward to the future fullness of God’s reign.
The beautifully designed new resource takes its place in Lifewords’ Christmas range, aiming to equip church communities to celebrate both Christmas and the season of anticipation that precedes it. Little Book of Advent joins OUTSIDE/IN, Meet the Cast, The True Light and A Story for the Whole World as a shareable tool to speak the Christmas story into the real lives of real people.

Easy to read and easy to share, Little Book of Advent is the first seasonal title in Lifewords’ popular Little Book series. These 10x10cm booklets combine Scripture with eye-catching design. The series now includes: “Little Books of” Advent, Joy, Chaos, Faith, Help, Jesus, and Prayer. To further reach a broader audience, the Little Brick of Little Books provides a boxed collection of the Little Books to equip ministries in making a wider impact across schools, churches, prisons, youth groups, debt centres, hospital chaplaincies, and more. The Little Brick of Little Books features seven copies of each of the seven titles, 49 Little Books in total.
Like all Lifewords resources, Little Book of Advent is freely available, but donations are both appreciated and encouraged. The brick box-set is available for a minimum £25 donation. Hilary Edgerton, chaplain at HMP Buckley Hall shared:
