OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics welcomes Jo Frost as its new Executive Director

OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics warmly welcomes Jo Frost as its new Executive Director, leading the UK-wide team of apologists who speak, teach, train and equip Christians to engage confidently in sharing their faith. 

Rod Street, chair of the board at OCCA said: “I am delighted to welcome Jo as our new Executive Director. With a wealth of experience from her time at the Evangelical Alliance and a strong background in both leadership and communications, we are very pleased to see God’s call on her to lead OCCA and look forward to God’s blessing on all she will bring.”

Jo joins the team having served for the last eight years at the Evangelical Alliance as director of communications and engagement, overseeing all its gospel work, as well as its membership and communications. She pioneered the Being Human project, alongside Peter Lynas, launching the chart topping Being Human podcast, now in its seventh season, and co-authored Being Human: A new lens for our cultural conversations (Hodder & Stoughton, 2023)

I’m honoured that I get to serve such a credible and vital organisation in this exciting missional moment.”

OCCA exists to engage people’s heartfelt questions about the Christian faith, share the beauty and credibility of Jesus in schools, universities, businesses and churches, and equip the church to share the life-transforming good news of Jesus Christ confidently. Jo’s appointment strengthens OCCA’s mission with her years of experience in leadership and passion for evangelism.
