Spring Harvest is introducing real-time AI translation across more than 85 languages at this year’s event, helping ensure that everyone can take part in the programme regardless of where they come from or the language they speak.
Through a new partnership with technology provider Streamlingo, attendees in Studio 36 (the main Celebration venue) will be able to access live translation directly from their own smart devices. By scanning a QR code, guests can simply select their preferred language and begin listening instantly through their phone, tablet or similar device. No app download is required, although attendees will need to bring their own headphones.
The initiative represents a new step for the event, using AI-driven technology to remove language barriers and create a more inclusive experience for the thousands of people who gather each year.
Jo Moir, Head of Spring Harvest commented:
At Spring Harvest we’re passionate about creating a space where everyone feels welcome – regardless of where they’re from or what language they speak. By introducing real-time AI translation, we’re helping more people engage fully with what’s happening in the room. It’s exciting to be pioneering something new that opens the door wider for our international community.
Spring Harvest guests who want to see the technology in action or explore how it might work in their own church or event are invited to meet the Streamlingo team at their exhibition stand in the Skyline, where demonstrations and conversations about the platform will be taking place throughout the event.
