Leading businesswoman appointed patron of cancer charity
Christian businesswoman Claudine Reid MBE has been appointed as a patron for Black Women Rising (BWR), a charity that provides a range of services designed to provide support and assistance to Black female cancer sufferers, as well as create opportunities for them to share their stories and gain access to appropriate care.
Claudine, a breast cancer survivor, will seek to use her experience, connections and networks to extend the reach of BWR’s work, supporting Black women through their cancer journey.
She told Keep The Faith:
Becoming a patron of Black Women Rising is deeply personal for me. Having faced a life-altering breast cancer diagnosis in 2019, I understand the fear, uncertainty and resilience that shape this journey. I am honoured to use my voice, experience and platform to stand alongside Black women, offering hope, visibility and strength.
