Deaf Ministry Volunteers needed

The NTA Tooting Deaf Ministry is looking for volunteers, both deaf and hearing to support partially deaf and profoundly deaf adults and children. If you would like to increase access and support for deaf people in the Christian community, are heartily committed to working with the hard of hearing and profoundly deaf, have experience in deaf communication and sign language.

We require people for the following posts:

Deaf Ministry Partnership-level 3-6 BSL, compassion and empathy is essential, as well as a commitment in Jesus Christ and the deaf community. Hearing people needed.

  • Would you like to increase access and support for D/deaf people in the Christian
  • community?
  • Are you heartily committed to working with the hard of hearing and profoundly deaf?
  • Have experience in deaf communication and sign language?
  • Like to share an exciting partnership role with a fellow Deaf Ministry Leader?

Deaf Fellowship Volunteer Roles

We also require a team of hearing and deaf volunteers to help make our church more accessible for profoundly deaf and hard of hearing Christians.

We require people for the following posts:

  • BSL Interpreters – level 1-6 for the main worship services, level 3-6 essential for
  • Bible study and Deaf Alpha course – level 3-6. (Deaf and Hearing may apply).
  • Admin and finance volunteers. (Deaf and Hearing may apply).
  • Communication workers
