Art exhibition aims to inspire racial healing

Christian artist and minister Cornelius Blake is preparing to stage an exhibition of his artwork at the Waiting Room, Peckham Rye Station, London SE15 4RX.

The exhibition, entitled The Weight We Carry, will feature artwork that depicts the themes of racism, trauma and healing.  A book with the same name will also be launched.

Cornelius, who, alongside his wife Christina, a psychiatrist, runs The Mind Cafe – a non-profit Christian mental health organisation providing Christ-centred, psychological support – hopes the exhibition will play a part in healing the racial trauma people have experienced.
